We're Passionate About Cheesecake!

Russell attended the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, where he graduated in 1982. During his time at the “C.I.A”, he was a teacher’s aide and was hired, while still in school, to be an Executive Chef for J.Q. Hammonds Hotels upon graduation. Prior to his returning to his home town (our fair city of Antioch), to ply his trade Russell has worked from San Diego to New York, picking up new ideas and experimenting. His skills and love for the cullinary arts ever growing while developing his own unique style.

Somewhere along the way, we got to thinking that we should get out and do something together that made us both happy— It just so happened that it was making people smile. Thus Russell’s Ultimate Sin Cheesecake was born and an endevour that has us “working” rediculous hours, and toiling even after the closed sign has been put up— And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We “sin”cerely hope that our patrons and soon to be friends, come to enjoy more than the 55 different flavors cheesecake or our light restaurant menu, coffee drinks, and other desserts— But also the great personal experience you have at our restaurant, because without that, we haven’t accomplished what we set out to do.

Please don’t forget to ask about Russell’s version of the classic Italian dessert Zuccato (He’ ll kill me if I don’t mention it). So without further ado, as the italians say “Mangia!”
